Welcome, thanks for checking out my new blog. Its not as cute as the one with my kids, I know. I've thought of writing down a few of these thoughts for a long long time, its just hard to find an opportunity to do so around here. That is whats with the name- usually, my time contemplating spiritual things, or praying, ect happens during the most mundane parts of my day, like you know, standing at the kitchen sink...where honestly I spend way more time than I'd ever like to making meals, cleaning up meals, and otherwise feeding the many small children that are running around my house these days.
So lately I've had several spiritual questions, thoughts, and topics stirred up that honestly have been bouncing around my head for a long time. Its good to have an outlet to write them down and I'm happy to "share" them via a blog. Most of my friends and family I long to have deep spiritual conversations with, I'm curious what their thoughts and feelings are on certain topics, but its so hard to find the opportunity to do so. Mostly in my life that is because the question, "What is God teaching you lately? doesn't blend well with, "Can you please hold my baby while I take my 3 year old to the bathroom and clean up the poop explosion that has run down both legs of his pants to his ankles?"
